Perched on a verdant hillside overlooking Orient Bay yet still within walking distance of the beautiful beach, Esmeralda Resort has as many swimming pools as it does villas 18. Originally conceived as a site for a single private home, the resort evolved into a private club for discerning homeowners before blossoming into the full-scale resort that it is today.

Hotel Accommodation
The 65 rooms and suites are spread out within 18 luxurious villas, each with its own private pool. All the rooms overlook a shaded terrace, surrounded by island vegetation and flowers with their beautiful brilliant colours. Rooms offer king or two double beds, private, furnished terrace, kitchenette and bath or shower.

Superior rooms have garden view and are located further from the beach.

Deluxe rooms are located nearer the beach or may have partial ocean views. Oceanfront rooms are located nearest the beach.

Superior Suite
All contain spacious living rooms and bedroom area with king size bed and full size pull-out sofa bed plus fully equipped kitchen, CD player, private and furnished terrace and bath or shower.

Deluxe suites have large dining and living room area with full size pull-out sofa bed, master bedroom with king size colonial bed plus a fully equipped kitchen, CD player, private and furnished terrace and bath or shower

Coco Beach, a casual bar and grill, is on the beach and features American breakfasts, French, Italian, Spanish.

L'Astrolabe, an elegant and a more formal restaurant at poolside specializes in French and authentic local dishes featuring fresh tropical delicacies. Serves breakfast and dinner. Bar open late at night.

Guests of the resort enjoy signing privileges at four other restaurants and bars along Orient Beach, Bikini, Kontiki, Kakao and Waikiki.
