The new Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa located on the North West of St Lucia will open its doors on 15 December 2010.

The extensive “village-style” resort is spread over a 45 acre estate complete with its own secluded bay and offers sanctuary to couples looking for a romantic and intimate break amidst the lush tropical gardens as well as a great escape for families in search of a lively and action packed holiday.

The new four star all-inclusive resort features numerous water and land based activities, luxurious spa treatments, a range of gourmet restaurants and bars serving premium brand drinks, an excellent children’s programme ,three wedding venues and selection of wedding and vow renewal packages.

The ‘active all-inclusive’ holiday experience features seven freshwater swimming pools as well as a 100 metre waterslide and motorised and non motorised water sports such as water skiing, banana boat rides, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling. On dry land guests can practice their swing at the Resort’s Racquet Club comprising seven floodlit tennis courts and a squash court, learn archery, join the daily guided walking and hiking trails run by the resort, use the fully equipped fitness centre or get involved in the supervised West Indian Dance lessons, Tai Chi, Pilates and Yoga classes that are available.
For guests needing to unwind after an active day, the resort’s Smugglers Spa is a sanctuary for the mind, body and soul offering a selection of luxurious spa therapies and treatments including soothing massages, facials, body wraps and scrubs, manicures and pedicures. Treatments can be enjoyed on the beach, under a beachside gazebo or in one of the relaxing treatment rooms. *¹

Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa has four gourmet restaurants included within its all-inclusive programme. Guests can sample international dishes from around the world at The Cove or dine at the Waterside Grill on fresh fish, seafood and local Creole cuisine, sample wood fired pizzas and handmade pastas at the resort’s informal Italian La Trattoria and feast on the mouth watering delights at the Asian Fusion restaurant Cafe Asia. The Great House, one of the best fine dining restaurants on the island is located in a grand plantation house adjacent to Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa.*²

All 357 rooms and suites are located in low rise single storey buildings set in the tropical gardens or overlooking the secluded bay of smugglers cove. All rooms are newly refurbished and offer terrace, air conditioning, private bath and shower, in - room safe, king or twin beds ( according to request), satellite colour TV, hairdryers, tea & coffee making facilities, iron & board. Hotel Restaurants and Bars
The Cove
An international all-day serving buffet style breakfast with made to order selections, buffet lunch and daily themed buffet dinner offering a choice of cuisines from around the world. A British style high tea is served every afternoon from 3.00pm to 4.30pm.

Waterside Creole Grill
Delicious Creole cuisine cooked to perfection, this restaurant sits just over the sea and is open for breakfast and dinner.

La Trattoria
An informal Italian restaurant offering traditional wood fired pizzas and hande made pastas and salads. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

Cafe Asia
Offering a selection of cuisine from the orient including Thai, Chinese and japanese. Open for dinner only and exclusively for adults over 16 years.

The Great House
A gourmet restaurant located in a grand plantation house, regarded as one of St lucia's finest dining establishment. It is located adjacent to the main Smugglers Cove Resort. Reservations are required and meals at this restaurant are not included in the all-inclusive programme.

In addition, once a week, a traditional Caribbean beach BBQ is served

All Inclusive Package
Unlimited meals at a selection of four restaurants with a fith dining restaurant available at an additional charge. Snacks available all day until midnight, Traditional afternoon tea and taxes and gratuities.
