East Winds Inn is an informal All-Inclusive resort consisting of 15 gingerbread-style bungalows, each with 2 guest rooms, set amongst 8 acres of tropical gardens. This delightful Inn is on the golden beachfront of one of the best and most sheltered bays of St. Lucia, just 5 miles from the capital, Castries.
Mingle at the clubhouse, at the pool's swim-up bar, on the sundeck, and on the beach -- where kayaks, snorkeling gear, and other water-sports equipment are provided. The international and creole creations of a French chef are served in the thatched-roof restaurant, picnic hampers are available for outings, or dine around in the evening at participating restaurants.
This resort is known for its fine cuisine, with a new (and very creative) sous chef who dreams up wonderful dishes and desserts. There are also numerous vegetarian options, and a replenished wine cellar (Pertois-Moriset Champagne) and cavier stocks.
ACCOMMODATION:
30 Rooms in semi-detached cottages with king-size beds and patios or terraces.
Superior Room - are all Rondavels of a large hexagonal shape. They have a walk-in shower and adjoining walk-in wardrobe/service area with a small bar-sink unit in addition to a private semicircular shaded patio. These rooms do not have air-conditioning.
Deluxe Room - are located in more recently built garden-bungalows. They feature an expansive bathroom with "His & Hers" basins and a wide semi-open-air shower and a small lobby with a wardrobe and dressing table. The open-air bar-sink and fridge units are a feature of the wide covered terrace through which the rooms are all independently accessed. Remote control cable television and VCR are special features of the deluxe rooms.
Ocean View Room - Located at the front of the property, closer to the beach, they offer a great sea-view from their traditional balconies. Although smaller in size than the other units, they feature the elegant facilities and privacy of the open-air "card-room"-lounge and its pantry. Cable TV and VCR also featured. These rooms do not have air-conditioning.
Ocean View Mini Suite - features a sea-view with a small separate sitting room, its own cloakroom and a large private sun-deck with an extra out-door shower. Cable TV and VCR also featured in the suite.

Buffets and grills are one of the Hotel's special features, at breakfast and lunch. In the evening silver service and twice weekly barbecue and buffet (including special Friday night Lobster grill).
