NECKER ISLAND
Almost completely encircled by coral reefs, Necker Island is relatively isolated and seldom visited, even by the numerous charter boats that cruise around the area. The island is marked by scenic contrast. Beautiful sandy beaches punctuate jutting headlands and cactus-studded ridges top panoramic hillsides. Beneath the clear, pristine waters, the reefs are alive with fantastically varied colours and shapes.

Necker seems to have been permanently uninhabited, as pre-Columbian artefacts found on neighbouring islands have never been discovered here. The house and island are run by local staff in a friendly, efficient, and relaxed style. The atmosphere is one of a private house, with an open bar and timings to suit you and your party. There are no 7am breakfast gongs, no harassed desk clerks hammering on your door asking questions. Life on Necker Island proceeds at the pace you set.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

THE GREAT HOUSE
Sitting atop a hill on this 74-acre island is The Great House, a majestic, airy Balinese villa and Necker's principal accommodation. This ten-bedroom villa has a Master bedroom with rooftop terrace and Jacuzzi, an ideal room for the host and hostess, and nine further bedrooms that can either be king or twin bedded, all with private bathrooms and spacious terraces, some shared.
The Great House also boasts a state-of-the art kitchen, a wonderful lounge that acts as the hub of the island where you can relax and watch a DVD, read a magazine, play board games or simply chat to your friends and fellow guests. The roof terrace of the main house provides the ideal spot to contemplate life or enjoy the sunset with a glass of champagne.

BALI CLIFF
Adjacent to Bali Hi and the most recent addition to the Balinese cottages, this has to be one of the most romantic settings you're ever likely to experience. It has a double bedroom and is built into the cliff with an open air bathroom, maximising the views and sounds of the sea. In bed you can hear, almost feel, the waves crashing under you. A once in a lifetime experience.

BALI HI
Bali Hi shares a plunge pool with Bali Cliff, so these two cottages are close to each other, though each has it's own en-suite bathroom and meditation room. Bali Hi has a large lounge area with CD player and television so guests of both can enjoy late night soirees without disturbing anyone. Bali Hi can also be used as an alternative to the main dining area at lunchtime for smaller groups.

BALI LO
This is the most private of the three Balinese cottages, even having its own private swimming pool. It's like a hidden retreat! Bali Lo is situated in the middle of the island but still boasts wonderful views, especially from the elevated meditation room. Golf buggies are provided for those guests staying in the Cottages, enabling them to make their way around the island at leisure if they wish.

DINING:

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are informal affairs, laid out either in the dining room, around the pool or on the beach. Locally produced fruit, vegetables and fresh fish are favourites. Menus can be specially designed on request.

Beach barbecues are always a favourite, whilst the sushi bar in the Infinity pool is a once in a lifetime experience.

The chefs love to do themed nights, our Chinese Yum Cha night for example. The island staff will make all of the arrangements for you, creating settings and menus never to be forgotten.
Special dietary requirements are catered for.

SPA:

The Necker Island Spa Leha Leha is the Balinese way of describing peace, relaxation and daydreaming, and there is no better place than at the new Necker Island Spa. Bali Leha is built into a cliff overlooking the sea, so whilst being pampered you can enjoy beautiful ocean views.
