Please Note: Divi Flamingo Beach Resort is looking beautiful but the beach is still very limited, nature has to bring back the sand (after the tropical storm Omar) but this is taking much longer than expected. This means that there is no real beach right now and guests can use piers for swimming and sunbathing.

Watersports: no longer have kayaks available

Happy Hour: Friday afternoon is still the Happy Hour time to visit the Balashi Beach Bar at Divi Flamingo.

Snorkeling trip: Woodwind is offering a great sailing and snorkelling trip and is leaving from the Divi Pier, a nice excursion to book.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Deluxe Guestroom
Deluxe guestrooms are oceanfront, offering full oceanviews with private balconies. Every deluxe room includes two double beds, color television, air-conditioning, and in room safe.

Superior Guestroom
Superior rooms have identical interior layouts as standard and deluxe rooms, and offer pool views or partial ocean views.

Standard Guestroom
Standard rooms offer tropical garden views, and are located on the first floor of the two story hotel block, or in casual summer-camp style villas with private patios. Each standard room includes one or two double beds, color television, air conditioning, and in-room safe.

Studio Room
Studio units are located in a charming sky-blue gingerbread-style complex with a private pool, and offer guests two double beds with a queen sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen, and spacious screened porch. All studio units offer pool views.

Divi Flamingo participates with the Bonaire Marine Education Center's Sea and Discover Programs. Children may join the "Reef Explorers" program - exciting mornings of supervised sea explorations with a marine biologist. The program starts at $25 per day for children age 7 and up.

SCUBA DIVING

Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino offers guests an amazing underwater adventure with Divi Dive Bonaire- a PADI gold palm dive center located on the property. Dive Bonaire conveniently provides five custom dive boats, guest gear storage, fully equipped dive shop, and an experienced dive crew with over ten years experience diving in Bonaire. Morning, afternoon, and night boat dives are available to guests, and fabulous shore diving is available 24 hours a day from the Flamingo beach or dive dock. Dive Bonaire offers a full range of certification courses for both advanced and beginning divers.

For guests taking a break from diving, the resort offers a casual casino with gaming tables and slot machines. A life-sized chess sets gaily decorates the Flamingo gardens, and the sun pier is a popular retreat for resort guests.
