Full Description Lighthouse Resort is located on the South Coast of Barbados, on the southernmost tip in fact very close to the famous area of Oistins and a convenient 15 minutes drive from Grantley Adams International airport.A truly relaxing and tranquil location with a welcome cooling tropical breeze . The Resort is near to Silver Point, home to the well known surfers’ paradise and is world-renowned for the competitions held between December and May For golf-lovers the resort is just 8 minutes away from the 18 hole Barbados Golf course and Lighthouse guests have preferential rates to use these excellent facilities. For those wanting nightlife, it is a short taxi ride from St Lawrence Gap with the various bars, restaurants and nightclubs. And of course the popular Friday Fish Fry at Oistins is a must for all! Hotel Accommodation Lighthouse Resort is brand new and has 47 apartments including one magnificent 3 bedroomed penthouse. There are 26 one bedroom apartments and 20 two bedroom apartments. All apartments are imaginatively designed in Italian and Balinese style and are an excellent size as well as being well equipped for a self catering holiday with cooking stove /fridge and kettle allowing you to do as much or as little cooking as you please! All apartments also have iron and ironing board /alarm clock/radio/TV /AC /WIFI access (charge Winter-only) . Hotel Restaurants and Bars One bar which will be open daily between 10 am and 11pm . One restaurant (open evenings only and not managed by the Resort Management team) All guests will receive a welcome breakfast pack (A small charge payable locally) and there is a small mini mart on the property for essentials Hotel Activities and Entertainment Magnificent swimming pool with sunbeds and towels provided, a short 2 minute stroll to the beautiful Lighthouse Beach.
