Striking just the right balance between the minimalist of South Beach and the relaxed sophistication of St. Barts— Ku brings something really different to Anguilla at a very reasonable rate. In a fun, informal setting where guests are comfortable dancing barefoot under the stars, pic-nicking on the beach, or the flexibility to dine out or in, as all the suites have their own kitchens. Arrangements can also be made prior to arrival for your shopping to be done for you. There is a sensual feeling about Ku from the moment you arrive in the minimalist tented but whimsical reception, to the lanterns that are lit at days end in the gardens, in the restaurant and on the beach.

Ku is designed with the young or the young-at-heart guest in mind, also for the young family with teenagers who will be very happy with all the activities offered.

N.B. KU does not permit children under 6 yrs.
DINING

Kú’s cuisine is reason enough to stay close by. Serving continental breakfast, lunch and dinner, its picturesque canopied beach front restaurant and 75 ft beach bar with its unusual drinks menu has become the fashionable "hot spot" on the island for guests and visitors alike, whether enjoying early morning coffee or cocktails with an incomparable view of the setting sun. Continental breakfast is served here or in the guest 's suite daily.
For lunch, the restaurant offers a casual menu of sandwiches, salads, grilled lobster, crayfish or fish, and barbecued chicken and hamburgers along with delectable desserts.
On Sundays and on several evenings during the week, a local band and/or a DJ creates an especially festive ambiance. In the evening, Caribbean cuisine with a French accent is served and pre- and post-dinner dancing, barefoot under the stars, is strongly suggested!

ACTIVITIES

When guests are inspired to leave the comfort of their suite, they’ll find no shortage of recreational diversions. Kú boasts an enviable beachfront location on exquisite Shoal Bay East. Often cited as one of the world’s finest beaches, it is fringed by sea grape trees and coconut palms and dotted with wonderful little restaurants and bars within very easy walking distance from Ku.
Its pristine, powder-white sand and gentle surf make it a sought-after destination for beach-goers. The Shoal Bay Scuba Center is located at Ku and rents dive and snorkel gear along with windsurfers, sailboats, hobie cats and kayaks.
The dive master stands ready to take guests to dive and snorkel sites both near and far, including the numerous reefs, wrecks and walls that surround the island. For the novice diver there will be resort courses available. Divers and snorkelers can also enjoy colorful reefs just a short swim from the resort.
To glimpse the underwater action without effort, a glass bottom boat is located steps from Kú. Deep sea fishing is also easily arranged.
The hotel’s free-form freshwater pool is strategically located on the beachfront, ideal for guests who can’t decide where to curl up with their bestseller. Nearby, the “petit” spa and gym addresses guests’ fitness and relaxation needs. A massage will also be available on the beach or in the suites!
The gym is equipped with treadmills, step machine and Universal weight machine; in the spa, guests can schedule massages, facials and other popular body treatments.

There is "The Market at Ku" so that the guests need not even leave the property if they need something for their kitchen, or even if they have an attack of the 'munchies'.

n.b. Please also note that recent Government legislation requires ALL accommodation providers on Anguilla to collect one (US$1) dollar per day per room, which will be charged on departure.

Hotel Accommodation
Light and airy, the resort’s 27 one bedroom suites, situated in five white buildings of one- to three-stories, each feature an oceanfront or ocean view balcony, living room with dining area, full kitchen, bedroom (king- or twin-bedded) and bathroom with shower. All suites are equipped with television, radio, DVD and CD players, air conditioning, ceiling fans and safes; some have a pull-out sofa in the living room.

To compliment the resort’s beachfront setting, the designers took a minimalist approach to the 775-square-foot suites. All white with pale aqua walls and white tile floors which form an understated backdrop for white furnishings and fabrics, including duvets and curtains. There is a palette of pale shades of blue and lavender. Color comes into play by bringing the outside in with the many shades of the turquoise sea at Shoal Bay East.

While comfort is a top priority, convenience is also a goal and, to that end, the suites’ kitchens are well equipped. Each features a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, cooking utensils, electric kettle, flatware and dinnerware. Likewise, guests can leave their toiletries at home. Bathrooms, each with a shower, have a hair dryer, bathrobes and plush terry towels, as well as luxurious bath amenities, including shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
