Privacy Statement

Internet Hotel Marketing regards the privacy and security of our customer's information as a critical component of the service offered. When you make a new reservation or make changes to an existing reservation, we offer the use of a secure server. The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology encrypts all information you input before it is sent to our server. At no time are the customers debit or credit card details un-encrypted over the Internet.
As part of our privacy policy we address these four key areas:

  • What information this site gathers about you
When you make a reservation, request special offers, send suggestions or comments to us we normally ask that you complete your details, which will include name, address and contact details. In order to gauge a profile of our visitors holiday habits we generally for example ask for information on where you have previously travelled in the Caribbean, where you heard about us and what your favourite hotels and resorts are. You will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions and surveys which are used to gather customer feedback to improve the web-site and also ensure that we feed back to hotels if they have provided poor service. Often when requesting information with the exception of your name, address and e mail other requests for information are optional.

  • What this site does with the information it gathers.
When you make a reservation with Internet Hotel Marketing, only your Name and the other members of your party are forwarded to the property in which you have made a reservation. A Customer Services representative of Internet Hotel Marketing may contact you if there is a question about your reservation.

When you enter a contest, give feed back on our site, review a hotel or other promotional feature, we may ask for information such as your name, mailing address, daytime phone number and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and continually improve our site. To help us better understand who our users are, we may also ask for some broad demographic questions such as travel interests and habits, web surfing preferences, age, gender etc. If you are a contest winner, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone to notify you that you've won and get your permission to post your name.

  • With whom this site shares the information it gathers
We share aggregate statistics about our customer's traffic patterns and reservations with our suppliers and partners, but these statistics do not include any personally identifying information. If users have requested to be kept up to date on special offers or information on particular islands then we will forward the information by e mail or by post ourselves and not pass details to third parties without the express permission of clients.

Like most Web sites, there is certain information we automatically track, including the URL that you just came from, which URL you go to next, the browser you are using and your IP address.

Occasionally Internet Hotel Marketing will hire a third part to act on our behalf for projects such as market research surveys and contest entry processing and will provide information to these third parties specifically for us in connection with these projects. The information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality agreement ands is to be used solely for completing the specific project.
